Lifetime Health Cover calculator
The Lifetime Health Cover loading is an additional charge you may have to pay for hospital cover, depending on your age and how long you have had health insurance.
This calculator is based on legislation which commenced on 1 April 2007. If you had hospital cover on 31 March 2007 and that cover is continuing, contact your fund for details of your loading, if any.
This calculator is currently being updated and a new version will be available soon. Depending on your circumstances, if you have taken out, or intend to take out, private health insurance on or after 1 July 2010, the calculator should not be used.
